Tap a switch
The arrow points left or right, where the wagon at the top will go. The yellow line is its way.

Send the wagon
Tap the wagon or “Go”. It runs to the loco if the color fits.

Wrong loco?
Then the wagon rolls back and counts as a wrong run. “Swap” pulls the next wagon forward.
This is the real game logic of the app: levels 1 and 2 from the game. Later you get a buffer, limited switches and more.
